An Herbalist is an Educator- schooled in the proper identification,
use and consumption of herbs and medicinal plants.
An Herbalist may specialize in Chinese medicine, Western and European Herbalism, Ayurvedic (East Indian) medicine or many other herbal practices around the world. I practice Western/European Herbalism.
An Herbalist does NOT prescribe medications, nor is an herbalist legally authorized to claim or promise treatment or cure for any disease or medical condition nor guarantee results from alternative protocols provided.
An Herbalist is also a Vitalist. A Vitalist knows that the body is
created to heal itself if properly cleansed and nourished through natural
means. When a body is clean and nourished it is less likely to be invaded and overtaken by disease.
An Herbalist follows a Hippocratic principle to work with the body-‘Doing no harm’.
An Herbalist does not work to treat only symptoms- but focuses on
the whole body and the root cause of disease.
An Herbalist believes the cause of all disease is related to a constipation somewhere in the body and will work to cleanse the
body and adjust dietary intake so the body can work to heal itself in addition to utilizing specific herbs for specific conditions.
An Herbalist acknowledges that herbs are food. Herbs are a complimentary food source to be consumed in addition to a nutrient-dense, fiber-rich diet of whole foods- not replace the diet. Herbs are NOT drugs. Herbs are food. Medicinal drugs are medicines derived from various natural and synthetic isolates and substances (including extracting isolate chemicals from over 500 medicinal plants) that treat symptoms and override a bodily function in order to convey specific effect as well as side-effects. Drug use and doses may need to be changed to control a desired effect or the body's responses.
Herbs simply help the body in times of compromise regain control of itself. The need for specific herbs decreases as the body recovers and heals itself. Herbs do not override the body. The body uses what it needs and discards the rest. The body does not store medicinal properties from the herbs- it clears the herbs the same way food passes through the body. Herbal medicines utilize the whole plant- in its entirety- never altering nature's intent. The plant grows in a fine balance of purpose and can only convey what it is capable- as a whole medicinal or nutritional plant. This is what makes herbs a safer alternative to drugs (which remove an isolate away from the balance of the whole resulting in unintended side-effects). There is very little side-effect of herbs at all (very rare when used properly). *It is important to consult your physician in addition to an herbalist who is knowledgeable of beneficial and harmful plants before administering any plant or herb*.
An Herbalist strives to positively strengthen the body's natural functions holistically by cleansing and nourishing it with herbs (plants in their organic state), whole foods, proper exercise, mental and spiritual balance.
An Herbalist is generally NOT a licensed medical doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist, pharmacist, physical therapist, other medical specialist- or the stereotypical “New Age Hippie”. Herbalist have existed for thousands of years gaining proven wisdom- while conventional medicine is quite young in comparison. The same herbs do the same things they have always been able to do for thousands of years. There is no need to reinvent or conduct experiments. What works is already known to those who understand the natural methods. Herbal medicines are time proven and are recently gaining the long-deserved respect of modern science.
An Herbalist does not break the skin by injection or other means.
An Herbalist does not prescribe or advocate the use of pharmaceutical drugs or non-emergency surgical/medical procedures as these processes focus on symptoms and not the cause and prevention of illness.

Iridology is the skilled art, science and practice of observing the markings and colorings in the irises of the eyes toward evaluating, understanding and promoting human
health. The irises show genetic predisposition to inherited weaknesses and strengths within the systems of the body, developed pathology and categoric personality traits allowing one to identify potential risk factors and
vulnerabilities, overall resistance to disease and stress, and need for lifestyle improvement. The structures of the irises do NOT change. The pupil shape, iris clarity, color and resolution however, do change and can show developed pathology (negative events) and improvements within the body as
accurately as within 1.25 years of changes. The iris muscles are much slower in mirroring the events ocurring within the body than the sclera (white portions of the eyes). Evaluation includes pictures taken of both eyes & comprehensive analysis of both the irises and sclera.
Sclerology is the skilled science of evaluating the vascular patterns and colors within the sclera(white portion of the eyes) to accurately determine pathology in addition to cleansing and healing occuring NOW within the body. Sclerology can determine changes in the tissues/systems of the body up to 13 months in advance of current medical detection capability.
The sclera can show changes within the body as soon as 3 Days after ocurrence! Specific diseases are NOT shown as such diagnostics are reserved for licensed medical practitioners. Tissue condition and function of specific organs and systems are clearly observed which can imply positive or negative changes within specific areas of the body. Over 7,000 nerves attach to the back of the eyes sending messages from the body to the world. These messages accurately direct communications from the body to the eyes for us to recognize in order to make appropriate changes for better health. As the body heals itself and conditions resolve, the sclera markings tend to fade, thin and retract showing corresponding improvement to that particular area of the body. Some lines never completely disappear as this is a 'scar' or history of what the body has endured and overcome. These lines remain as faint 'trails' in the sclera. Evalutions include pictures taken of both eyes and comprehensive analysis of both the irises and sclera.
